Ok, so it’s been awhile since my last blog…Matt’s even blogged this week! Yeah, so if you want his latest check out his blog when ur done here.

I’m been busy, stressed, and worn out this week…hence the lack of desire to update this blog. I don’t even think I’ve been checking everyone else’s blog as much as normal.

The kids and I celebrated Christmas on Thursday, so we read the story about Jesus’ birth and then opened gifts. We pretended the whole day was Christmas. (I have a few pictures of this, but I haven’t uploaded them onto facebook or anything yet…sorry..) 

We had Christmas with Matt’s mom’s side of the family last night. I’ll be sure to link you guys to some pictures of it after next week. (I got my hair cut and don’t want some people to see the pictures of it until after I see them.) The weather wasn’t fun last night either. We ended up taking an hour and 5 min to get home. Typically it takes us about 20-30 min to get to his parent’s place depending on traffic. Due to all the rain/ice/snow mix we got we were driving pretty slowly. Matt’s car also has the worst wipers on them, so we ended up pulling over to get them and the window cleaned off 7 times! Yeah, 7….just so that we could see out the window again! He said he was gonna buy some new ones today…However, I think they would have came in a lot handier if we had had them last night….oh well… This was the first time we had to drive in a bad winter snow storm as a couple, so I actually foung it kinda neat. Call me strange, call me weird, but I couldn’t help thinking about how this was our first time and some first times are kinda fun. I was also wondering how many more times we’d be in a similiar situation together in our life time and how many more times it would take until we have lil ones sleeping in the back seat through it all.

Well that’s all I’ve got for now…I’ll try to do better this week…I know I’ll have all kinds of pictures by next weekend….with Christmas and seeing lil Luc Thursday-Saturday! Can’t wait!
